A glass specially designed to enjoy mezcal through the senses.

Mezcal is a spirit made from agave. Just as there are many species of agave, there are many types of mezcal: Espadín, Tobalá, Tepeztate... And one that comes from blue agave that people call Tequila (have you heard?).
A good Mezcal has a very complex aroma and taste. But there is no specialty glass to truly appreciate mezcal. There are classic glasses, like the one used for candles at churches, or, more traditionally, a jicara from the tecomate plant. But the shape of these vessels is not appropriate to enhance the aromas and taste of our favorite spirit.
That is why we at delaO design studio designed a tasting glass to find a better way to appreciate mezcal the best possible way: By enhancing the senses.

The Mezcalero glass has a bulbous shape that helps concentrate the aroma and flavor, enhancing the complex taste find a real appreciation of the nuances of mezcal. It is entirely made by hand by a family-run glass workshop in México City.
